Environmental and Conservation Policy

As part of our commitment to the environment, the quality of wildlife and economic growth in East Anglia, these policies will implemented whenever possible. Suppliers while be encouraged to implement their own environmental policy.

1. Encourage the reduction and reuse of waste material to minimise its environmental impact. Reduce, reuse and recycle.

2. Protect and encourage the regions wildlife. Work towards conserving the areas habitats and expanding species and increasing the population of those already established.
3. Do our best to improve the atmospheric conditions by reducing all potential pollution and comply with all current and future legislation.
4. Encourage through our publications, environmentally friendly activities such as walking, cycling, sailing etc.,
5. When purchasing goods and service major consideration on the environmental impact to be taken into account. Encourage contractors and suppliers to adopt good environment responsible practice. Ensure goods are produced from sustainable sources.
6. Establish policies to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases through energy and transport initiatives.
7. Reduce water and other material consumption.
8. Provide a quality environment for current and future generations .Source supplies locally and support local businesses. Encourage a stable local economy  capable of maintaining the local environment.
9. Consult with relevant agencies on ways to improve our policies.
10.  Review and update policies on a regular basis.
