




Brought up in an atmosphere of good food when her parents ran an hotel in the picturesque village of Thaxted. MICHELLE CARTER has lived in Essex for most of her life. After studying journalism at the London College of Printing, Michelle started work in Fleet Street and became a Consumer Editor in 1988. Now a freelance journalist she still contributes regular consumer and food stories. Michelle Carter delights in holding dinner parties and browsing through her large collection of cook books for new culinary ideas.
